Working Together Socially
I just wanted to write a quick blog post as a like to do to tell you the latest development .
As some of you will know I am the Online Marketing director of All About Tourism and during our day to day work we run a range of marketing services including craft & food fairs across Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire.
Some of the people in the world of arts and crafts don’t seem to have the time to get the best out of there social media campaigns, websites and the massive arrange of online marketing tools and methods to have to their disposal.
We here at All About Tourism have decided to develop social & web based platforms to promote the craft sector and the craft businesses that make it up.
BLOG - Using a blog like this one we run All About Derbyshire we shall market , give dedicated static web space to each member part as well as regular blog posts about new products or events they will be attending.
SOCIAL - We will also manage social media accounts on both Facebook, Google + & Twitter including features we offer to our regular online marketing customers as Facebook app,s , targeted online marketing, social media management, consultation & training
EMAIL – here at All About Tourism we produce online publications All About Derbyshire & All About Nottinghamshire we distribute to a great database of over 180,000 Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire consumers. We will include an article and the email marketing in the package.
I think there are business communities that would benefit greatly from combining forces to get the most out of online marketing methods out there today where it would be hard to get their own messages heard.

Add Social Media Optimisation to Your Blog
Social media optimisation or (SMO) is the process of optimising content for social interaction, discussion and sharing. SMO can be applied to blogging, social status updates, product pages, email, and more.
Similar to SEO, there are on-page specific factors. This guide reviews the benefits, factors, and checkpoints for you to successfully apply on-page SMO to your website blog
In its simplicity, SMO enables you to drive more traffic, interaction, and conversion while learning about your target audience and capturing tangible metrics to gauge your social media initiatives
You need to identify the action for which you’re trying to optimise such as
Website Traffic- Get users to visit your social accounts, subscribe to updates, and follow you socially.
Blog/News Page: Get users to follow you socially, click-through to articles, click-through to author pages, and share or rate
content.
Article: Get users to share, bookmark, rate, comment on, and link to the article.
Article Commenting: Get users to comment, rate comments, and interact with other commenters.
