2012 – What’s Hot & What’s Not

Well the end of the year is fast approaching so I thought we would take a look at what I think will be the in-trend topics for online marketing in 2012.

SO – LO – MO – in case you don’t know SO-LO-MO is social , local & mobile – Social Media is going local & mobile so the use of Foursquare & Facebook Places now they have bought Gowalla will be great tools for local businesses & is a as consumers

BLOGGING – Blogging is already a great tool for business but with Google’s “Freshness” update & the forthcoming changes preferring new content from the search engines Blogging will be fabulous. There are some great free tools too

MOBILE – having some dedicated mobile content whether is a mobile version of your website or an app – your business must be mobile friendly

GOOGLE + – the new social network from Google is a great tool for business with some features that are well worth utilising.

For any advice or if you have any questions on anything I mentioned above please feel free to get in touch on tim@tjelliott.co.uk
